What this number picker is for
This tool is useful whenever you have a numbered list, a range of tickets, a set of classroom questions or a simple decision that can be represented by numbers. You set the boundaries yourself, so it works for small ranges such as 1 to 6 and large ranges such as 1 to 10,000.
The picker runs in your browser. The values you enter are not sent to a server, and there is no account or sign-in step.
Repeats versus unique results
If you choose no repeats, every number in the result is unique. That is useful when selecting several different worksheet questions, seat numbers or numbered tasks. If you allow repeats, every draw is independent, so the same number can appear more than once.
If you ask for more unique numbers than the range contains, the tool will tell you to reduce the count or increase the range.

- Classroom: pick 5 different question numbers from 1 to 30.
- Board games: generate a number from 1 to 12 without reaching for dice.
- Household jobs: number a list of tasks and choose one at random.
- Practice sessions: choose random drill numbers so the same sequence is not repeated every time.
How the result is generated
The page uses the browser's built-in JavaScript random function to select values inside the range you provide. It is intended for everyday activities, learning and informal decisions. It is not designed as audited software for regulated drawings, financial systems, security tokens or other situations that require a certified random process.
